I'm a huge fan of this game and played it a lot when i was like 12. I just discovered a way to play it online for free and man it's awesome. So much fun. If anyone is interested:

EDIT:

Long ago EA shut down their servers and put them in the hands of the community group XWIS. As long as you have a valid serial number (C&C the First Decade these days) then there's nothing illegal about using things like Ranger, Hamachi et., al. It's just not supported.
